All of our shoulder mounts are completed using our custom sculpted coues deer mannikin's. All of our mannikin's are sculpted in clay over the original skeleton on a coues deer, tediously reproducing each muscle based on reference materials. Once a clay original is made, a fiberglass mold is then made which allows us to many quality mannikin's for that particular size and age class of deer.

     Most taxidermists use a generic commercial mannikin or even worse an eastern whitetail mannikin. All of our forms are custom sculpted based on the time of year the deer was harvested, age class and even geographic region. Different mountain ranges produce different body sizes and facial dimensions on these deer.
